Product Updates

Product Updates: 16-31 August 2026

A strong fortnight for splose AI and everyday setup. AI now writes more accurate, more thorough clinical notes, you can save AI Block prompt improvements straight back to your template, the Services page makes the Appointment vs Support Activity choice much clearer, and UK practices can now search clients by ID.

splose AI writes better clinical notes
splose AI's text generation has received an upgrade, with improvements to Ask AI, AI Blocks, emails and letters. Generated notes now come back more accurate and more thorough.
There's nothing to switch on, and nothing changes in how you use AI. Voice-to-text is untouched and runs as normal. The difference is in the quality of what comes back.

Save AI Block improvements back to your template
When you improve an AI Block's prompt while writing a note, you can now save that change straight back to the source template without leaving the note. No more re-editing the template by hand afterwards.
There are three ways to do it: an "Update block in note template" action in the block's Actions menu, an "Update prompt" checkbox when you thumbs up a block you've edited, and an "Update all blocks with changes" checkbox when you finalise the note. Available to anyone who can edit progress note templates in AU and UK.

A clearer services page: Appointment vs Support Activity
Setting up a service just got clearer. Appointment and Support Activity now sit side by side as cards with equal weight, each with plain-language descriptions and examples always visible, so it's obvious which one you need.
If you name a service like non-contact work, for example "report", "note" or "admin", while Appointment is selected, splose will nudge you to switch. You can also change an existing service's type after the fact from the row menu, and a new "Create and add another" option makes bulk setup quicker.

UK: Search clients by ID
Practices in the UK can now reference clients by a unique ID instead of their name. Enter a client ID in the same search field you already use for name, phone and email, and it pulls up the right record straight away.
Client ID now also appears as a column on the client list and on the client profile, and there's a client ID placeholder for email, letter and progress note templates. This helps practices working with the NHS, schools, or other third parties correspond about a client without identifying them by name.
